• HEALTH, WELFARE & RETIREMENT PLANSAdminister multiple benefit plans and retirement plans by following establishedprocedures, solving problems and communicating information about the plans toAssociates.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of benefit plansoffered and the related regulations, policies and procedures.
• Reconcile monthly vendor invoices for benefitplans. Lead routine and special projects such as Annual Enrollment and BenefitFairs.
• Serve as back up to answer Associates’ questionsregarding the leave programs other than Workers’ Compensation.
• Assist the Benefits Manager in the 403b planaudit.
• Validate payouts to participants in a frozenCash Incentive Program twice a year.
• Participate in various Associate Events,including Annual Picnic and Service Awards.
• Participate in a team-based approach committedto a common purpose, performance goals and holding themselves mutuallyaccountable.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

·Education: High school diploma or equivalent

·Two to four years in health and welfare benefitsadministration, leave of absence programs and retirement plans.

·Working knowledge of federal and state benefitlaws and regulations including HIPPA, COBRA, FMLA, PDL, FEHA, ADA, CFRA, ERISA,Military Leaves and Workers Compensation.

·Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

·Bachelor's Degree, CBP (Certified BenefitsProfessional) or PHR (Professional Human Resources), Hospital experience,Lawson software program knowledge.
